The Cathedral of the Dormition in the Moscow Kremlin. The Cathedral of the Dormition is the mother church of Muscovite Russia. The church stands on Cathedral Square in the Moscow Kremlin and was built in 1475–1479 by the Italian architect Aristotele Fioravanti.
