On November 2nd, 2010 former Yukos head Mikhail Khodorkovsky delivered a passionate and emotional speech to a packed courtroom with an audience in tears and talked of hope for the future freedom of Russia that sought to reach beyond the courtroom to the ears of the Russian people and the watching world. Giving his last words Khodorkovsky said: `I will not be exaggerating if I say that millions of eyes throughout all of Russia and throughout the whole world are watching for the outcome of this trial. They are watching with the hope that Russia will after all become a country of freedom and of the law, where the law will be above the bureaucratic official.` A verdict in the new case against former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky and his business ally Platon Lebedev is due on December 15, Judge Viktor Danilkin said on Tuesday,November 2nd,2010.
