Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko (leader of Batkivshchina oppositional party)has announced that the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has placed further restrictions on her ability to travel.Pictured: speaking to reporters before appearing for questioning at the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said that the ruling government is demonstrating its intentions to legalize corruption in Ukraine. Tymoshenko has said that the Prosecutor General`s Office has changed her status from suspect to defendant in a criminal case alleging she misused money obtained from the sale of greenhouse gas emissions credits and has prohibited her from leaving Kyiv.She also stressed that President Yanukovych is using the Prosecutor General`s Office to crack down on political rivals.
